Is There a Doctor in the House?

Anna got a doctor kit for Christmas. Here she is checking out some of her animals. Looks like the bear needed some medicine. He did also get a band-aid, so should be feeling better.

Christmas Village

We took Anna and all her grandparents to Christmas Village in downtown Ogden. It wasn't too cold and we all had a good time.

Christmas

Once again, Anna came out ahead on Christmas.
Here she is with her new Viewmaster, or binoculars as she calls them.
She also got a new computer

Anna, Grandma May and Grandpa Bob are trying out the musical instruments she got from her Uncle Andrew's family.

We'll be expecting some quality artwork from her now that she has a new easel. She is also wearing her new vest.

And here's her new toybox. She seems to like it, as she promptly climbed on top of it and pretended to nap.

Ride 'em Cowboy

Anna decided to pretend to be a cowboy. She chose a pink hat for her "cowboy hat" and a purple bunny as her "horse".

Woolsey Party

We attended the annual Woolsey Christmas party this year.
Here is Anna all dressed up for the festivities.

Here she is Singing Christmas carols with Santa and the other kids.

She was pretty excited to get her present from Santa.

Christmas Song Practice

Here is Anna practicing songs for the Christmas program they are going to have at the daycare.
Oh, and tonight she decided on no pants and mom's socks. Perhaps she is starting a new fashion trend...

Fashionista

Anna got a new hat from the craft show yesterday. Because, how could I come home without buying the sparkly pink leopard print hat with a flower to match?

Halloween Monkey

This year, Anna was a monkey for Halloween.
We went trick or treating with Grandma Gale and got enough candy to last for quite awhile.
Her favorite part of her costume was the tail.

Ready for Winter

Ok, so it may be a little early, but Anna is now prepared for snow this year.
Here she is all suited up in her new snow gear for this year.

Camera Shy

It has been a little difficult to get pictures of Anna lately. Every time the camera comes out, she lets us know that she doesn't want her picture taken.
Here's her strategy for keeping the picture taking to a minimum...

Almost got a good one!

Aha! Success!

Oregon Trip

In August, we took a trip to Oregon. We visited Bend, Salem, Newport, Cannon Beach and Mt. St. Helens.
It was ALL about Elmo in the car.

Here she is getting ready to face the day.

She got to visit her cousin Aaron (and Aunt Katie and Uncle Leland).

And saw fishes and divers in the aquarium.

Lots of rocks to explore.

And plenty of sand time,

and trips for buckets of water at the beach.

New Tricycle

Anna got a new (hand-me-down) bike from the neighbors.
She's not quite tall enough to pedal yet, but she sure likes it!

4th of July

Grandpa Stan took Anna to the Hooper 4th of July Parade.

There were all kinds of things to see.

tractors,

horses,

and even a marching band.

They all had a great time!

Beth's work party was at the zoo this year. Anna was tired by the end of the day, but had a good time anyway. Here we are on the zoo train.

Awww. Baby elephant!

More Birthday Fun

We celebrated Anna's birthday at home with Grandma Gale and Grandpa Stan.

Here she is opening her gift.

It's a baby and a baby bed. Shhh. Baby sleeping....

Birthday Weekend Fun

We celebrated the Memorial Day/Birthday weekend in Mesquite at May and Bob's house.
Anna did a good job of blowing out the candle on her cake.

Here she is opening one of her birthday cards.

And here she is with her loot. She got enough kitchen appliances to cook for a crowd.

We also celebrated Kevin's birthday. He did a good job of blowing out his candles, too.

AND we celebrated Bob's birthday. 3 cakes in 2 days!

The weather was nice, so we spent a lot of time outside.
So many rocks, so little time...

Relaxing with Grandma May and Teak (their foster dog)

Swimming in her fancy pool.

Taking a walk in a nearby park.

Anna decided she liked to hang out in the dog cages at the pet adoption we went to for Teak.

Then she came home and helped Skippy with his dinner.
