Christmas Morning

All of the grandparents joined Anna and us on Christmas morning to open gifts. Santa sure was busy!

Santa brought Anna this toy cellphone. She was a little surprised when the phone rang while she was playing with it. Too cute!

Christmas Eve

Anna enjoyed a serenade by her cousin Erica on the viola and her uncle Allen on the toy piano at the Christmas Eve party at Grandma May and Grandpa Bob's house.

Christmas Village

We went to Christmas Village in Ogden yesterday. Anna was mesmerized by all of the lights and scenes in the little houses.

Snow!!

We had a snowstorm with some good heavy wet snow, so we went out and had some fun today.

I'm sure this breaks all kinds of safety rules, but Anna has decided that it is great fun to run around the house with the bag for her blocks on her head. Well, whatever keeps her entertained, I guess...

Who Needs Toys?

Who needs toys when you have laundry hampers and baskets to play with? Well, I'm sure Santa will bring something anyway...

Snow!

The snowfall this weekend along with Anna's new snowsuit made for a fun afternoon today. This pretty much was Anna's first time out playing in snow. She wasn't too sure about sitting down in it, but she sure thought it was tasty.

Christmas Tree

We put up the Christmas tree this weekend. Anna was quite impressed with it. She said "wow" to it all day long.

Here she is pointing out all of the things she recogizes on the picture on the tree skirt. She saw balls, and bears, and horses...

Once we put up the ornaments, there was a lot of pointing and babbling. She had quite a bit to say about the tree. Wish we knew what she said!

Anna's hair is finally long enough for real pigtails!

Falling Leaves

One advantage to having a large tree in the yard is the massive amount of leaves on the ground in the fall. Anna had a great time shuffling through and playing with all of the leaves on the ground.

Quack Quack

Anna was a duck this year for Halloween. After the first couple of houses, she got the hang of things. She was also fascinated with all of the carved pumpkins, stopping and saying "oooh" when she saw them.

Anna had a fight with a table and the table won. She got a pretty good cut on her eye. Luckily, no stitches, just glue.
